- Cutting Edge Music technology: Fairlight CMI which could sample and reproduce sounds,as well as acting as a sequencer and synthesiser.Although the fairlight CMi had bene used in pop music before - namely singer-songwrite Peter Gabriel in 1979 - Brain Wilsen(founder of the American boy band The Beach Boys) used exsensively on the album “Pet Sounds”.
- Kate Bushes distinctive voice(light and airy tone which almost sounded like it was being held back - Bjork also had a distinct voice
- Bushs Vocals always prominent in the mix,and are often altered to fit the tone.While they are never particularly virtuistic,her voice has a disntinctive tone which makes it sand out from the accompaniment.
